Recent Engagements

    March 2019 - current:

  • Actively developing an E2E Salesforce MDM strategy for a non-profit organization in the Bay area. This includes a well defined and planned Data Migration with Data Prep/Cleansing, Data Collection using data connectors developed using REST/SOAP APIs/Calls and Data Validation using manual/custom solutions as well incorporating industry ETL/ELT automation tools such as: Mulesoft, Informatica Cloud, IBM Infosphere, Oracle Data Integrator, Dell Boomi, Talend, Jitterbit and others.

MDM Lifecycle

    July 2016 - April 2019

  • Consultant services for multiple CRM Data related activities including: Data Integrations, Data Migrations, Data Cleansing, Data Standardization, Data ETL activities and MDM solutions.
  • Most engagements were with salesforce non-profit organizations heavily dependent on the need for a robust Master Data Management (MDM) process to promote healthy CRM data. Complex bi-directional Data Integrations were performed using various tools such as Mulesoft, Dell Boomi and proprietary in-house integration solutions. Clients typically also required other important data services such as Salesforce Declarative and Programmatic customizations including Apex Triggers/Classes, Workflow Automation, Approval Processes, Apex Test Classes, etc. Other data services included: ETL & Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Prep/Standardization, Data Validation, Data Migration, Custom Reporting, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
  • Development and Deployment of RESTful/SOAP API based web services.
  • Development of microservices in both online and serverless-offline environments using AWS Lambda/API Gateway.

Past Projects, Activities and Engagements.

Independent Contractor while at Convio/Blackbaud:
  • April - September 2012: Designed, developed and implemented a re-useable duplicate management system for a non-profit Salesforce CRM donor database. Architected and developed a Data Deduplication Application to address critical business pain points. Developed and designed a well-defined reusable and automated process that incorporated Oracle, MySQL, SOQL/SOSL, Perl/AWK/Python, Convio Luminate ETL and Salesforce ApexDataLoader to enable auto-merging of duplicate match pairs and to preserve critical CRM data in the surviving records.
  • An independent automotive service shop chain (San Antonio, TX) from October - December 2011: Designed, developed and implemented an updated automated solution to a legacy payroll system. The .NET C# application exported data from PeopleTrak and an Advantage Database (Time Tracker) and imported to the SQL Server (payroll database) streamlining business operations.
  • August – October 2011: Designed, developed and implemented a real time data processor to capture real time data from a mobile device and other external sources and write to a MySQL database. Implemented in C/C++ using the MySQL C API and deployed as a Linux daemon. Extensive post processing and reporting was performed against the captured data for review by individual clients.
  • August 2008 – August 2012: Full Stack web development for GoldlunchBox.com. This PHP dynamic website used LAMP based technology and incorporated extensive JavaScript (using AJAX/JQuery and other JS Libraries). This project was ongoing as the client requested changes to functionality and/or theme. Client is a prominent Graphics Designer in Austin, Texas
